How to Calculating Future Value in Excel.

How to calculate the future value of funds in MS Excel with Future Value (FV) function. It is easy to compute the future value of a regular program of savings and investing. With the Excel spreadsheet FV function you enter a rate of return, dollar amount of periodic or one-time investments and number of periodic investments. Given these parameters, the FV function computes the future value of the specified investment stream.
If you want to calculate future value of an investment in case of RD (Recurring Deposit) or FD (Fixed Deposit) then, you have to take following steps. 

RD (Recurring Deposit)

1. Prepare this Sheet
2. To calculate Recurring Deposit value then type following code on Result Cell =FV(B5/12,B4,-B3)


3. To calculate Fixed Deposit (FD) value then type following code on Result Cell =FV(C5/12,C4,0,C3)
