How to Install Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow on Google Nexus 5X with Factory Image.

Pre-Requisites to Update your Android device.

1.     Follow this procedure only and only android device with the specific model number.

2.      Your device should be charged more than 80%.

3.      Make sure you have all the backup of your internal and external stored files.

4.      Backup all your important contacts

5.      Backup all your important sms messages

6.      Make sure you have USB debugging mode enabled.

7.      Don’t Try to flash this Stock ROM to any other Device

Installation Process:-

1.       Download Official Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow Official Factory Image on your Desktop.

2.      Download the required ADB/Fastboot files from the below mention link and extract the folder on your desktop.

3.      Extract Official Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow on your desktop and Copy all the file and paste in ADB/Fastboot folder ----->win32 folder.

        a.      Windows – Click Here to Download

        b.      Mac – Click Here to Download

        c.       Linux – Click Here to Download

4.      Connect your device to the PC with the help of USB Cable.

5.      Switch OFF your device. Go to the Fastboot/Bootloader Mode on your phone.

6.      Turn ON the phone while Pressing & Holding the “Volume Down + Power Button” for 5-6 seconds for the same time.

7.  Now extract "hammerhead-LMY47D" file on your computer.

8.  Copy All the file and paste in Fastboot Folder. 

9.      Now open the ADB/Fastboot folder ----->win32 folder on your desktop

      a.      On Windows: Run the file “flash-all.bat”.

      b.      On Mac: Run the file “flash-all.sh” using Terminal.

      c.       On Linux: Run the file “flash-all.sh”.

10.     Now wait some time to complete this process and follow the instructions on-screen on your phone. 

11.      Reboot your device.

Note: - The phone will take 10-15 minutes to start and initialize all the services & application because this is the first time you are starting a phone after installing Official Stock ROM. So don’t be hesitate and wait for complete process.
