How to Install CWM Recovery on Sony Xperia Z1

This method is tested on Sony Xperia Z1  (Please Don't Use in any other device if you want to install CWM recovery to another devices contact us first we will try to help you.

Pre-Requisites to Rooting your Android device.

1.       Follow this procedure only and only if you have Android Device with the specific model number.

2.      Your device should be charged more than 80%.

3.      Make sure you have all the backup of your internal and external stored files.

4.      Backup all your important contacts

5.      Backup all your important sms messages

6.      Make sure you have USB debugging mode enabled.

7.      Don’t Try to flash this ROM over any other Device

Installation CWM Recovery Process:-

1.       Download CWM Recovery on your computer.

2.      Rename download file to “.img” file to “recovery.img”

3.      After rename this file copy and paste to “Minimal ADB & Fastboot folder”

4.      Then connect your device to computer with USB cable.

5.      Now open command prompt window how to open press "shift key and right click on mouse"

6.      Turn off your Xperia Z1 completely.

7.      Now press the Volume UP Key and while keeping it pressed plug in the USB cable.

8.     Now type the following command “fastboot flash boot recovery.img”

9.      Hit Enter and it will quickly flash CWM 6 recovery in your Xperia Z1

10.  Once recovery is flashed, now issue this command “fastboot reboot”

11.  Your device will reboot now

12.    Congrats! You should now see the custom recovery.
